I don't think this has been posted yet, so I thought I'd let everyone know that South Park is in HD right now on Comedy Central HD complete with CCHD corner bug. Looks great!

Only the Wednesday 10 pm shows have been in HD since COM HD started a few months back. All other reruns during the week have been 4:3 SD.

Did anyone see last week's [Wed] new episode about the Jonas Bros? It was great! I had no idea who the Jonas Bros boss would be.

Bumping this thread since I have yet to see any episode in HD on Comedy Central HD on Directv. I know I'm tuned to the right channel since movies show up in HD. I have my season pass set to auto record the first run episode at 10:00 (9:00 central). I just watched the season premier this past Wednesday (3/17) and it was 4:3 SD. Is this a Directv issue or Comedy Central issue?

If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

IF I didnt think it was going to be in HD I woulda set my series link to comedy central SD to save HDD space.

I'm happy to say I was right to set my link to COMHD. This weeks episode was funnay.

Check your series link in the series manager and see if it says "COMHD" for Comedy Central HD and that it has an "HD" logo or if it just says "COM" (the SD channel)

I had to cancel and change mine this week after having it record the SD version for the season premiere. Worked find last year recording HD and the SL hasn't been touched since then so its some type of bug. As was suggested by sigma1914, canceling and redoing your series should fix the problem, it appears to have for me.

I will check that out and redo my season pass. Sounds like it may be the problem since my season pass is 3 years old.

South Park Studios is actually reanimating old episodes in HD since the animation is so simple. Probably the only show that will ever do this. The first episode in HD was season eights "Good Times with Weapons" and it was available only on Xbox Live and on a free HD DVD that you could get at Best Buy if you bought both an Xbox 360 and the HD DVD add-on.

DirecTV also ran it in HD on Channel 101, along with the "Imaginationland" 3-parter, some months before CC HD launched.
