You're out of the footprint of the 129 sat. If you have all MPEG4 (ViP-series) receivers, check out the 1000.4 dish for the "Eastern Arc" sats. That's what you'd want in your area.

If you do NOT have an MPEG4 receiver and are just doing "I'll setup the 1000.2 dish with an old receiver first", be sure you use Transponder 21 to check strength of 129 sat. I'd guess you are out of the footprint, but a non MPEG4 receiver can make it difficult to know.

I have a 622 dvr but the card has not been changed. I get it and it drops off, get maybe 20 or so and then down to zero.

Ciel II at 129° is predicted to have a strong signal for parts of FL unlike E*5 which was the reason FL used to be ineligible for the Dish 1000. The map was shown on the February Tech Forum. Once I get a chance to re-install my USB capture device I'll put it up on the EKB.

The maps that I've seen show the Conus beams almost hitting Cuba. The fact that Ft. Myers and West Palm Beach's HD locals are uplinked makes me feel that Dish is pretty confident about 129's signals getting down there.
