Any word on when the Chico, CA locals will be launched? I know that they said in the Charlie Chat that Chico, CA will be launched soon.

According to the EKB HD Locals page the target date is May 6. It is a target date however.

CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox affiliates are now up in HD. Unfortunately, the PBS affiliate is not.

I wouldn't hold your breath on the PBS local in HD. I've had HD locals for quite some time and still no PBS HD.

There are very, very few DMA's that have PBS in HD on Dish and many of those are for reasons that don't apply to the rest of us.

I've been watching HD programming on the Chico/Redding HD locals. I'm very impressed at the quality even with the large amount of compression. To me it is just as good as OTA.
