I have had TOTAL CHOICE since '99 (currently $53.99).

Over the years, I have added HD ($10) and DVR ($6) for a total of $69.99.

I see from the D* website that Choice Xtra + HD-DVR is $65.99.

Is there any reason for me to keep my current programming package? If I had any DNS, would a change request trigger a re-evaluation of any DNS decisions?

Most likely yes.
No longer doing DBS work, but missing every moment of it.

Here, is a comparison of the channels in each package. it is a little out of Date but could help in determining if it is worth the extra $6
