Scott: When will Dish DVRs be able to share events via ethernet?
Dan: Working on for existing boxes, future boxes will have “complete sharing.” Will have a “pseudo sharing” like a virtual drive. Working on some cool new technology because not all customers will have ethernet between their boxes.

A perfect storm of recording problems and interference from our jobs interfered with several who wanted to do a recap of last night (I, myself, fell asleep during the opening slate and woke up at 4am the next morning answering an emergency call from work - today was another 11 hour workday).

One of us might put one together but the EKB / dishuser.org summary is good.

The link in jclewter79 ' s post is pretty good ...

Thanks, also thanks to jclewter79 for the plug. (Didn't do it myself because I know not to visit this site unless I'm sure I have time to get through all the new posts I may want to read in my selected forums.)

I like having more than one recap because each tends to fill the holes left by the other(s). And for those items of particular interest, dfergie's video and audio clips take us straight to the source without having to find them in the middle of the show.

Definitely true ... We definitely had a perfect storm here in terms of the guys that take the time to do it here. Also provides a good back up in those rare occasions that one gets missed.

No problem, I actually missed all but the last 20 miniutes of the show live. I went looking for a recap you were the only one that had one so, I figured that everybody else might be looking for one too. You did a great job on it.

Funny thing is I caught the bytes and caps, but haven't really watched the Tech Forum... ;) I skimmed through and stopped at the interesting spots...

I don't watch the Tech Forums or Charlie Chats anymore. There's so little information in them I just wait for people to post re-caps here.

Your information IS correct. NASA does have a HD feed. I just heard about it from the NASA public announcers a few minutes ago. So its time to get Dish to add their HD channel. :)

How's about Charlie springing for an HD cam for the in-house stuff. The picture quality(?) of the Charlie chats and tech forums makes blood come out of my eyeballs it is so crappy. :sure:

I don't really need to hear about transponder space, all the other programs on this channel are SD, or blah blah blah.

Just fix the sucker!

PLEASE
