DTV has revived "Friday Night Lights", how can we get them to revive "The Unit", which is agruably the best show on TV?

Didn't it run like 5 seasons? I'll agree it was a good show, but it had its run.

Given the fact that ER went what 12 seasons there is plenty of room for more seasons of 'The Unit' IMHO. A program can go as long as the writers can sustain their quality and Mamet et al certainly can based on the final season show quality.

Agreed. This is a great show that died too soon, imo. I would love for it to be picked up by someone!

I read somewhere that MY NetworkTV was looking at airing repeats of the show next season which makes me think that there could be the tiny bit of hope that it could return mid-season.

Couldn't agree more. The Unit had the #1 slot on my priorities list. I wold love to see someone pick it up. DirecTV, HDNet, someone. And not just for repeats. Anyone write in to DirecTV or HDNet? Mark Cuban tends to have an open mind about such things.

i would love for the UNIT to get picked up by someone. i read somewhere that FOX owns it,even though it was on CBS. so maybe FX could keep it going, don't really see FOX doing it.but stranger things have happened.

The 101 would be perfect for The Unit but what about Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles...two of the smartest shows that got canceled, if The 101 would pick up those two shows they would be a real network to us.

While I really likess TSCC and will miss it I can't see how one could call call it "smart".
I do, I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you, or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.
