Groundbreaking series for it's time. You either loved it or hated it, but it was a Who's Who of top name guest stars.

Now running early mornings on TBS and some evenings on TVLand.

WHooooooooaaaaaa Bundy!!!!

The earlier seasons were the best , before Marcy (Amanda Bearse) started directing all the shows.

The old ball and chain wasn't so bad either. If you get past the silly clothes, Peg's pretty sharp looking.

And for a couple of seasons Marcy was cute as could be.

I remember when the show first premiered, and thinking "it's a show with irreverent family members interacting with each other - essentially a live-action version of The Simpsons." The Simpsons debuted as a separate show the year before MWC was released.

It's amazing that The Simpsons still seems so fresh over a decade after MWC was finally canceled! But MWC, as cheap and low-budget as it always seemed, was always funny.

some random useless trivia about Peg (Katey Sagal). She used to be a backup singer for Bette Midler and, as I just found out looking up her real name, backup singer for Bob Dylan and Gene Simmons

Thanks,
Rich

I love(d) this show. I used to watch it all the time on FOX when I was younger. And have recently been watching it again when I can after I "accidentally" found out TBS is airing it. When I hit my teens I really only liked this show better to see Christina Applegate.:D
