All of a sudden my DVR will not boot up with the drive attached. It goes to the screen telling me My hard drive is bad and starts scanning the drive. I let it finish 3 times but still no go. I hooked it up to my computer and formatted it to NTFS and it seems to be ok. I even tried another DVR and the same thing happened. Is it possible the drive just won't work with the DVR yet still work on the computer or do you think I am pressing my luck using it at all?
Directv with 4 HDDVR's 3 HR24's and one HR21

Order a different esata enclosure, dissasemble the cavalry and remove the internal HD, then throw it in the new enclosure and give it a shot.
