WHAT: DISH Network is the clear leader in high definition, and today, the company fortified its first-place ranking by announcing the launch of high definition local channels in Laredo, Texas.

WHEN: HD local channels became available to existing DISH Network subscribers in the Laredo, Texas DMA who subscribe to locals and HD at approximately 5 p.m. CT on July 8, 2009.

*gulp* One HD channel counts as "HD local channels"?

I understand it's a small market, but there's a CBS (KVTV) in full power, too.

Maybe when dish said they are going to have HD locals in Columbus/Tupelo MS on July 1st, maybe they meant July 1st 2010 or 2011. Stupid me just assumed they was talking about 09.
Why do the things that only happen to stupid people always happen to me?
