Thanks tubaman. HERE are the channels.

Five of these six HD channels are available to FiOS HD Extreme subscribers at no extra charge. I didn't see Crime and Investigation on the FiOS list.

I know this is OT, but no, Verizon currently doesn't carry C&I HD. They had plans to add it late last year, but it's been held up - no idea why. But you are correct - all the others are included in the Extreme HD package, as will C&I HD when it comes on line.

I found 4 shows in the 1st 24 hours that I will record to watch sometime this winter. So far my canceling of HD Extra Pack has not caused me any remorse.

It's worth it, in my opinion, for HDNet Movies alone....the absolute best movie channel in the world.

I think I found two movies on one of the channels and the rest of the shows were of little or no interest. Thanks to DirecTV for giving me a free chance to remind myself of why paying for the HD Extra Pack is not something I need to do!

One other reason to have HD Net Movies - they show movies from Magnolia Pictures before they air in the theaters. They just broadcast The World's Greatest Dad last night. I have it recorded - haven't watched it yet.
