I liked it, I bought the dvd when it cam out earlier in the year and was not disappointed. I felt they wasted too much at the start telling the whole story how death was let out by the toads, but that i suppose was for people who nevr watched the original. I could not beleive how good reggie looked she was a frumpy little gir who blossomed quite well. Gigity gigity.

They did leave the door open for a new show or other movie but I will not hold my breath. DLM like Pushing Dasies were IMO wonderfull shows that the network gave up on. A third season for may have got people watching.

Well, I don't know that the others were non-essential to the goal of wrapping things up.

There seemed to me be two plot threads - (1) what happens when a reaper doesn't do the job as Rube had insisted during the series which involved all the reapers acting out in a manner consistent with their series personalities

That's where I was going with the "non-essential" comment. The characters did exactly what we'd expect of them if left to their own devices and then realized they'd be better off following the rules. I just thought the supporting cast could have been treated better and developed a bit more like they did with George/Reggie - I somehow felt cheated with the way their plot thread was developed.

Not to mention the fact that it was hard watching someone else play Daisy without the same flirtatiousness and sass.
