I watched 3 presentations so far (on UniversalSports.com - also live on Olympic.org) starting with Chicago, followed by Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro. The last presentation, from Madrid, is still 1 hour away.

Off those three, unfortunately, I must say the Brasillian presentation was the most compelling one so far. There never have been Olympic games in the South American continent and the the facilities and venues are in beautiful surroundings (Copacabana and other scenic beaches and parks, including an ESPN style X-games park). The cruise ships used as swimming hotels will anchor right next to many venues. Also the finances are fully secured.

Obama, Chicago major Daley and co will have a tough time defeating Rio's bid.

My prediction in order:

1) Rio
2) Chicago
3) Madrid (haven't seen that one yet)
4) Tokyo (cute presentation, based on the "Green environmentally friendly games theme", but the other ones were better)

First time for a South American country, so I'm glad for them. Especially after being enlightened on what it was going to cost the US government to host the games in Chicago.

But sad for the rest of the world....:(

My guess is they'll endless party until then, and forget all about any preparations...
