I noticed the Prestigo SRU8008/27 is on sale for $20 (maybe closing out) on Woot and Buy.com. Is anyone using it on HRs? Pros? Cons?

I was looking at it too. I checked the user guide, and there's no mention of whether those four "color" keys across the top are decorative, or "learnable". The manual is completely silent, even on the page where the key's are identified (see attachment... they're right below "A" and "G").

About the colored keys, another post in another thread seems to indicate you can 'learn' them and the colors display as words on the screen, like "red" "blue". I'm not sure if I could get used to that.

They must mean on the remote screen, no?

I bought one of these, and yes the color keys can be "learned" from another remote. The process is a little strange and the documentation says nothing about it, but most keys on the remote can be "learned".

I have the upgraded model of this remote (TSU9200) that is really the same but it has RF and is PC Programmable. Overall it is a nice remote, colored buttons work great with directv. The scroll wheel/screen interface takes some getting used to but is very quick and works really well IMO.

Only thing I dont love about the model I have is that the PC software is kinda crappy, wish they would let it just use the normal pronto software.
