Boo! No Special XMas!

Sirius/XM really pissed me off for removing this channel.

I miss "Grandma Got Runover by A Reindeer" and Ramones "Punk XMas".

Isn't it a bit early for them to put on Christmas channels?

That is only a week before Thanksgiving. I don't think its that early compared to what some radio stations around the country do.

In past years, XM has started as early as Nov. 1, so no, this isn't anywhere near too early...
Wish list of channels for D*: C-Span 3; BBC World News; Sky News International; CBC Newsworld; France24; EuroNews; Eurosportnews; Setanta Sports News; ABC News 24 (Australia); Australia Network (soon to be ABC Asia Pacific); Al Jazeera English; Russia Today; NHK World; DW-TV -- Heck, how about an entire English-language international tier so I don't have to keep switching to my Roku?

I too love Christmas music. What I don't love is Christmas stuff in Costco, in early September.

Kind of a strange question to ask in the DirecTV forums. Maybe you'll get an answer though, who knows.

Could be worse. I know one forum that has had members listening to Christmas music since summer, including me. It's enough to drive a normal person batty.

I wish they hadn't taken XM Love off the air during this time....its good for "Doghouse Dinners" You know, those dinners you have to cook when you're in the doghouse with the wifey and XM Love is a perfect station to put on right before you light the candles and serve the burnt food

I might be persuaded to listen to an all-novelty channel.

Shoot dude, my daughter made me put up Christmas decorations and stuff up day after Halloween :hurah: But I don't mind at all, winter doesn't feel THAT bad at Christmas time :)
