This has nothing to do with Ch 65, but does anyone feel the presence of both Ch 23 and 23-2 is the prelude for getting 23 hd up here in Richmond?

I called them about this a couple of times. Directv's 23 and 23-2 are both the same channel. The guide matches exactly. I told them 23-1 should be the HD channel. Check the channel guide on Directv.com. It has it as channel 23-1.

Well Vinnie, sounds like that D* planned to give us hd and sent the wrong channel out. I can tell you that the sound on 23-2 is straight stereo or even mono while 23 is dolby. It is interesting to flip back and forth and listen to the difference.

Well let's hope they fix that and give us 23-1, that's the one I am hoping for more than anything. WUPVHD was a nice suprise though for my wife, don't think I've ever watched it.
