Just got it today after months of wanting it, then it being out of stock! I've already hooked it up using the software that came with it to my Win 7 Machine. But I am better off using it with Windows 7 or should I hook it up to my Mac Book Pro?

I am basically looking to record HD Video from my DirecTV HD Box to the computer, and transfer it via HD to DVD and eventually to BluRay. Also, would love to cut out the commercials.

So I'm looking for advice and tips on the best way to do this, and keeping the quality as high as possible!

Thanks in advance, look forward to hearing what everyone has to say :)
