In a pretty radical move, Fox (which this year has Champions League rights in USA, as opposed to Disney-ESPN) has decided to televise Champions League final on OTA Fox channels!!!

WoooooooHoooooooo!!!!!! (Does a run-around the house and dance.)

Fox had earlier planned to put it on the somewhat obscure FxHD channel, but came to their senses and moved it to OTA. Also considering this will be the first year it will be on Saturday (as opposed to traditional time-slot of Wednesday afternoon), I'm sure Fox realized it needed better exposure and can get better ratings.

Big move. I suspect the numbers will be groundbreaking if 2 major teams can get in.

I'm guessing they planned this a long time ago but couldn't announce it back last summer because they didn't know the MLB schedule yet and which games would move to primetime.
