I have completed DirectTV Customer for 2 years. I called them to see if there is any discount available being a nice customer. They gave me 10$ Off for next 6 months. Is it a good deal? Bad Deal? Nice Deal?

For being a D customer for 10 yrs, they gave me $5 off for 10 months. I guess thats a good deal. You didn't have to wait for another 8 yrs to get the discount.

If you really are a nice customer it's a nice deal.

Congratulations! :)

depending on like if you were aiming towards a premium package or sports package. You could've asked do they have any special offers for current "HD customers" or etc if you have HD. You could've got HD free for a 1 yr or something idk.

Actually, I sign up for 2 Sports Package, Cricket Ticket (299$ every year) and Baseball MLB Package. I do have HD as well. I pay DirectTV more than 100 bucks a month, so I guess I do qualify for a "Nice" Customer. I actually called Customer Service to give me 100$ off for CricketTicket. (Its 299$ per year, and it is expensive), In Return he offered me 10$ Off for 6 months which means, 60$ instead of 100$, I didnt argued, and I took the offer.

Not sure now, Whether its a good offer or now and hence the above thread.

I was offered a similar discount on my 2 year anniversary. Problem was.. I had to call 2 or 3 times after it was only applied one month. Kinda lessened the 'gift' a bit.
