HBO would have to provide them first.

Unless you're joking and there are funny little emoticons telling me that...they don't display on my blackberry.

When channels have been moved in the past, the old channel usually has a "This channel has moved to xyz" in the guide.

Since many of the "moved from" channel numbers are going to be re-used for other channel's "moved to" channel numbers, there will only be a few (if any) that have such an indication.

I sure hope they add more of the Cinemax channels, I mean seriously, 3 channels for 12.99? I don't think many people will buy that.

Me too but at least Skinemax is in HD.:eek2:

Hotels and other places like that have there own in house ones where the satv tv is added to there own in room ppv and games + in house channels.

IN House "ones" ? WHO?

Head ends are usually sold to properties with a Maintenance agreement /contract and the "seller/administrator" is Responsible for ALL from that point on.

As far as PDI, had the pleasure of doing some MFH2 surveys for them before most of this forum knew what it was.
Id trust them (and one guy there!) before a soul here and especially including the D* tv boys of propaganda who lurk here.

Now list Multiband (MSO) and their info?
Cant... nor will i say the same.
Deception & BS is part of their everyday curriculum..:nono2:

As long as my series update.

More premiums is always welcome, some more value out of the Premiere package. Here's hoping for Epix.

It turns out that only older films on Epix are in their OAR, while newer films are cropped. No thanks.

I personally have no need for additional Showtime channels or Starz for that matter, but I would not complain if we got them.

What I find very interesting is how well the HBO and Cinemax channels fit into the new channel lineup.

I would hope that we could at least get some more premiums. I’d think it would be a waste though to add that many west coast feeds.

Of course they will add a bunch of HD premiums soon.

Because I dropped Premier last week and won't be able to see them!

(I didn't drop it because there aren't enough HD premiums, but because my viewing habits have changed and I'm not watching anything much right now.)

I'm sure I'll pick them up again someday, and the new ones will be appreciated.

Equipment includes a buncha stuff that I no longer have interest in detailing

I sure the hell hope the DirecTV doesn't waste HD bandwidth on both an east coast and west coast feed of the same channel. Its just delayed 3 hrs, we have DVRs for a reason people.

Pick one or the other, don't waste valuable bandwidth on both east and west feeds of the same thing.

Wouldn't "EncoreHD" be a new channel? I don't think it is in HD now.

Since D* already has all of the Encore thematics, I highly doubt they would bother adding Movieplex, since it's just a duplicate of the other Encores on a rotating daily basis... ;)

We really like the option of being able to record the later version of something if it's not convenient to do it now. Take that away now and there’s gonna be a lot of upset people...I’m just sayin’

Since it costs 1.66¢ to produce a penny, my 2¢ worth is really 3.32¢ worth.  That 3.32¢ is my own and not the 3.32¢ of DIRECTV, Dish, or anyone else for that matter.

Yeah, I forgot that they already added the West coast HDs of some of those channels. It just baffles me, but I can see that sides argument.

I just look long term, in 18 months if we get tight on bandwidth and are still 6-12 months from a new bird going live, I hope they consider dropping those 13 west coast duplicates.

Yep they should delete all the west coast feed movie channels.
Dont they repeat most movies like 10x during the week anyway if u have a dvr conflict.

That might not be so convenient for the westcosters when the new movie premier comes on at 5 or 6 p.m., but I see your point.

i agree that redundancy is foolish, so lets drop the east coast feed. do we really need a duplicate feed of what we already get on our west coast feed?
nothing like having way too much sports programming . . .

(see profile for equipment)
