Looks like Logitech has lowered the price some more

They have released a new Entry level model that lacks the LCD, actually looks like a nice option at $50!

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

I could do without the screen, especially since they added the colored buttons (which is mainly what I use the screen for).

But, only one activity button? Watch TV?

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

This one looks pretty limited. It's only 4 device and has no backlight. The best thing about harmony besides the database is the LCD. Lose that, and it's not much better than any $20 universal. I'd hold out for a 600 on sale for a few bucks more. If this thing only does one activity (macro), then a cheap universal with nearly unlimited macros would be much better.

When looking at remotes my main thing is layout.

This seems to have a nice layout, much better than a lot of the cheap universals out there.

You guys have good points though.

I bit the bullet and just got the Harmony 700. I love the dedicated color buttons... And it works!

When looking at remotes my main thing is layout [...]

The inexpensive WR7 remote has my favorite cruise control layout to date. I like having the REPLAY and SKIP keys slightly separated.
