I've been seeing something in the guide that was supposed to come on today and did,called "I Can Do It! Conference". for $40,wow. what is this PPV event supposed to be?
DTV customer since 2002
recievers-HD-DVR,three SD receivers
sports packages-NFL ST,MLB EI,ESPN Gameplan,and NHL CI,
premuims-HBO,Cinemax,sports pack and Showtime
TV-Sharp Aquas 37 inch 1080p

I've seen conferences like this broadcast to movie theaters where people pay similar amounts to see them. I suppose if DirecTV has the bandwidth and stands to make a few bucks selling this for viewing in private homes, why not? Admittedly, I'm not interested in it, but then I don't pay big bucks for PPV boxing matches or wrestling matches or whatever either. If you are in the target audience for these types of broadcasts, I imagine it's fairly handy to see them at home instead of a theater.
