Got my SWM16/DECA all installed on Tuesday. Seems to work fine overall. However had an issue last night when watching a recording from another receiver last night. The picture completely freezes about every 10 minutes. It does not recover need to stop recording and restart. The problem is with a HR20-100. Haven't seen it on other recievers (yet?). The HR20-100 was installed with the special method (2 way splitter and BS filter) and I verified it is correct.

I'm thinking it is an issue with the HR20, but can't be certain not some other system problem. Any thoughts? Hate to call D* to troubleshoot, that could be a disaster in itself.

Any thoughts?

Very few since it's early here.

Try reboots to one or both receivers. Look at the DECAs and make sure all have green LEDs.

Yeah, haven't seen that one. Based on your description (a little more detail would be nice such as number of receivers, connected methods, models, etc) but it definitely sounds like you've isolated it down to a receiver or DECA module. If you want to pinpoint further, you could swap DECAs (assuming you have more) and see if the problem follows the DECA or the receiver.

I would call DirecTV as you have a 90 day warranty. This was the sort of thing I would see with the early beta versions and my boxes where connect via Ethernet. The most common fix for these type of problems is a RBR (red button reset). It's located behind the front cover where the access card is located.
