Well, I am a new user to DTV, and I need some help.

Basically, I have two receivers: HR24-500 in my LR and an H24-100 down in my basement. I have MRV enabled for both, and for the first week I was trying to get the ethernet port working only to find out I need to have a DECA adapter installed.

So - I got that installed and hooked up to my Router (NETGEAR - Powerline Ethernet Adapter Kit with Ethernet Switch). From the router I have two ethernet cables hooked up...one to my PC and one to my HR-24 adapter. From the PC, I can tell that the speed from the internet is solid (Speedtest.net shows around 12-15MB/s down and 4-5MB/s up)

Once hooked up, the receiver sees the connection and tests all show good. I re-ran the setup guide and all is well (IP address, etc).

However, whenever (and I mean I've tried 20 or so times) I try to download a VOD show (any show, typically I try something small-ish like a children's show, Berenstein Bears or something), it will show 0% - Download Paused. I try resuming endlessly, and always it's the same thing...for a couple of seconds it looks like it's going to start, then it goes to "download paused".

Can anyone direct me to some sort of guide or assistance that I'm missing here?

Thanks!

Rgds,

jwehman
