During the MRV Beta you had the option of turning off MRV on any DVR that you wanted. Now all you can do is turn off sharing a playlist. If you don't share a playlist on a specific DVR that DVR still sees the unified playlist. That is a big problem if you have a DVR that is being used by one person and they only want to see their stuff, but they want it to have internet access for DoD or Mediashare.

"Issue" to use it as it was designed?
I'm been doing this for so long I can't remember when.

No, not issue to use it as designed...issue that it cannot be turned off on an individual DVR. The Beta version could be turned off on any DVR at any time.

I have one here that is the last thing I want shared with my others.
Under multi-room, it is set to not share and the playlist is set for local.
When I want to watch from here, I simply change play list to all and view my other recordings.
Think the only difference between what you were doing and now, is "where" you make these changes.

Yup .. Sharing Off, Local Only .. Same net effect as turning MRV off, but it does require two separate settings to get there.

Ah, I never go in to change the playlist...was expecting there to be an option to just turn it off with all the other MRV options. Thanks guys.

Now if there was an issue, it would be that rebooting causes the playlist to revert to all, and need to be changed back to local.
Can't the DVR remember the setting?
