I just learned after install that the viewing off one DVR can only be done off one tv at a time. Meaning only one tv can view something off that dvr playlist at one time. I have my HR22 upstairs with all existing recordings. I have new HR24 downstairs. I have new H24 in new install in kids room. If I am watching up on the upstairs dvr wich contains the movie, I am unable to watch anything else off that dvr in either of the two rooms? I am not happy about that and I guesss my bad for not understanding the limits. So much to read and obviously Dtv customer care did not explain this to me. I asked this very question and was told I could access the same dvr but different programs on two different tvs. Bummer!

Correct. The DVR can send 1 show (live or recorded) to the TV where it is connected. I can then 1 stream to another DVR or receiver.
