i went over and took a look at the setup...a d11 and r16, there was an aspen multiswitch outside in a box (also saw the dish was actually grounded in there..impressive primestar setup lol) and he just fed a third line from the box to the dvr. He was also puzzled as to why there was a splitter in the basement but the signal goes thru just fine (96+ readings) so why mess with something that works

also he took a peek at the cracked lnb and just shook his head, should have been replaced years ago, i hope their rain issues go away now
