Whole home set up with the HR 24 DVR

The video's and all the other things I have read state that HD receivers are a must as part of this set up.

Am I to understand that an sd receiver will not interface.


It will , but I will see the programming in letterbox format.

Only HD receivers are MRV compatible. The R22 is the only exception, but only if there are other HD recievers on the account.

You can have SD receivers on the account, but they won't share content and must be SWiM compatible.

Is there any SD receiver that has a network connection other than the R22?
