My DVR is running out of space, and I would like to record some saved shows via my DVD recorder. I thought about connecting the receiver to the TV to the recorder, but unfortunately my TV does not have an output.

Is it safe/correct to attach the DVR receiver to the DVD recorder, and then connect the DVD recorder to the TV? I wouldn't be too concerned, but in my recent install, I got an additional power source with the DVR receiver, and I don't want any sort of power overloads.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
