Well, many Bay Area sports fans are not sure to jump for joy or be depressed today becuase the Warriors did finally sell ridding themselves of an owner most people have called the worst owner in sports....but all the hope and hype of Larry Ellison buying the team didn't come to pass when he bowed out and refused to meet the demands of $450 million. I guess if your Ellison you don't become the 6th richest person in the world by overpyaing for someone elses garbage. :nono2:

Doesn't Joe Lacob own part of the Boston Celtics?? Given it is a minority interest but none of the less a possible conflict of interest.

He is selling his 10% of the Celtics and will become the managing partner of the group. It will be interesting, he is a Bay Area resident who has owned Season Tixs for a while. Anything is going to better then what the team had before, inept ownership to say the least.
