The 24 hour limit applies to movies, not events.

:D

Nice one!:) I mistakenly took his question to broadly about PPV in general.

I have never ordered a PPV event . . . ridiculously expensive.

I used to get a PPV movie every week or so, but ever since they started deleting them after 24 hours I stopped buying any at all.

Somebody killed the goose who laid the golden money eggs with that 24 hour bullcrap . . . wasn't that the MPAA's doing?

I know egg and milk prices keep going up, but a $5.99 movie was never a golden egg in my eyes.

Draws are very very rare. Do you mean decision?

Oops, yeah.

Even then, I feel stupid paying good money to see a few seconds of punching each round only to be disappointed with the decision.

I get 6 or 7 UFCs per year. As long as there are at least 2 fights on the card that I'm interested in, I'll get it.

Well, it was golden money egg in DirecTV's eyes, huh? . . . which is what I meant.

Once upon a time, long, long ago, I ordered a movie through my C-band system. Have ordered nothing since via Dish (2 years) or DirecTV (9 years). ;)

Before getting married, I would get maybe 2-3 boxing PPVs a year. I can't remember the last time I ordered a boxing PPV as it was probably before 2003.

As for movies, I think I have ordered 2 during the 11 years that I have been a subscriber.

From one married man to another...marriage is a lifetime PPV commitment. :) DirecTV PPV is cheap in comparison.

Never
I would for the next month pay $20 to watch Inception as a ppv that is the the only window for them to make money on ppv from me. After that time I should be able to download a half decent copy and then wait for the blu-ray.

I order 90% of UFC events and 90% of Boxing events. PPV is the only way I watch movies, I'm not sure why people have an issue with the 24 hours viewing limit. What is the limit on movie tickets? I only go to the theater once every 5 years or so, last time I went, the viewing period was the length of the movie... and no pausing to answer the 27 questions the lil' misses inevitably comes up with starting just after the lights dim.
