I saw a GE universal remote at Target for 16.99. On the packaging it said it was fully functional with DirecTV DVRs. Anybody have experience with this particular remote?

Below are the details:

Use with TVs, DVRs, DVDs, Blu-ray, VCRs, receivers, cable, satellite and converter boxes
Works with all major brands
Advanced DVR functionality
Specialty cable A, B, C and D functions; easy to setup and use
Remote Control Features: Infrared Learning Port, Backlit Keyboard, Programmable Buttons
