I lucked out. My daughter's old DirevTivo HDVR2 died and I called to get it replaced. I was eligible for a free HD upgrade, so I took it instead of the SDDVR for $20 (I'm not joking). Anyway, an HR24-500 showed up.

It seems like if you order MRV most likely you will get an HR24. But that is not a definite though.

When I ordered my MRV install, I got an HR24 and had my SD receiver replaced with an H24.

I wish all customers were like you. Although we have to be careful using pre-mapped cables. In your case I would feel confident in doing so, but builders on the other hand I rarely trust.

I've had jobs where the kitchen was the living room and the bathroom was the master bedroom. Not a single one were right.

I hear that, when I had first hired on with mastec I got trained up in Rio Rancho some of the wiring on these new beautiful houses were pretty messed up!

It was pretty sad, then on top of that we would end up remapping the cables because they were never done right or just rewiring the house!

I sure don't miss those headaches LOL :)
