You can get out the tiny Festivus pole for next week. One HD Channel launch scheduled on the 4th.

And yes, there will be at least one other Festivus in August beyond this one.

Queue the complaining. :)
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

I'll be the first :)

If you add GolTV HD you will be missing the Emirates Cup this weekend that's being broadcast in HD where available.

Not a complaint just a "darn" moment.

I bought some foot rail for a bar we built from a place... that also sells Festivus Poles. I kid you not. I will see if I can find the link somewhere.

Yay for more HD. Lets get even more!

DirecTV, please don't make me have to go back to watching March Madness in standard Def! Oh, and the usual begging for AMC and BBC America. You are so close to actually being the HD Leader.

Good for some. I still hope for BBCAHD, and after the Directv Twitter, I hope to see AMCHD.

Folks, I'll leave this thread open as long as the anticipation and revelry pertains specifically to this news. If it becomes a general anticipation thread or goes off topic, I'll close it and redirect you back to the main HD anticipation thread.
Opinions expressed by me are my own and do not necessarily reflect
those of DBSTalk.com, DIRECTV, DISH, The Signal Group, or any other company.

Why not just merge it into the ongoing speculation. It's still "anticipation", because we weren't told which channel. We all know the direction this thread will head ;)

You didn't think they were working on AMCHD before the twitter??

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

Maybe TVPredictions.com was right when he said that D* was using D12 primarly for PPV.

Hardly. Swanni was just making things up, as usual. Regardless, let's keep the topic of this thread on this festivus and deal with the other topic in the anticipation thread.
