So how ridiculous is this. I live in western NY so the Yankees are my "local" team. It's blacked out on YES and MLBN. Why are the Yankees blacked out for me? These blackout rules suck. Guess I will have to just watch it online...

My 9 and/or 633-1.
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

No, Friday games are on My9 in NYC. They do wind up on YESA (633-1) for DirecTV and on EI.

Not sure who gets 633-1 inside the Yankees territory. Anybody know? Someone must get it. It isn't there for EI only.

It was available on WHAM in the Rochester market last night.

Several of the My9 games are carried locally.

Perhaps DirecTV is blocking the alternate channel in areas where that is the case now?

my 9 new york in not in hd not good

WWOR My-9 NY is certainly in HD on 633-1. I assume you are watching the wrong channel if you can only get it in SD.

YES would only be blacked out at 8:30pm last night if the game was on YES and you weren't supposed to get it (such in a different market w/o MLB EI, a replay of the game, etc.). The game wasn't even on YES, it was on My9. Lindsey Vonn's CenterStage was on YES.. I know because I was watching it b/w commercials on My9's game.

I know but does anyone in the Yankee coverage area actually get it? If the game is on My9 then the folks who are in the NYC area get My9.

But so far I'm hearing that folks in YES area that do not get My9 do not get 633-1.

The only way to watch the game would be to see it on WHAM in your area. All other channels would have been blacked out.
