Is the Mtn part of regular package and not sports pack if you are in Mtn area?

Just wondering since I live in Boise and they are joining the Mountain West next year and I was wondering if I will need the sports pack when that time comes.

It is a regular RSN within the league footprint.

Better say goodbye to those ESPN games, and hello to crappy PQ that makes public access TV look like a better option.

All Mountain West football games on the MTN this year will be in HD, from what I understand.

Also, I thought the PQ of the HD feed during select The Mtn football telecasts were better than ESPN, and there isn't as much on-screen graphics...until they bring up their bottomline.

It is an excellent HD picture.

ESPN really has one of the worst HD pictures (and so much clutter with the huge scorebugs and ticker) so almost anything should beat it.

I saw a BYU-UNM game on the Mtn last year in HD when I had the sports pack that looked pretty good. The game didn't end well though...

Just wait until the broadcast student they hired to run the video camera looses the ball every other play. Or the BYU alumn and his son they hire to do commentary can't keep they bias in line...

OK I'm done with the rant. It won't matter to me soon anyway as we are off to the PAC-12... GO UTES!!

Full time HD??? Wow... that's a scary thought!!!

The MTN is HD "where available" has been on DirecTV on a subchannel 616-1, I think.
