Any PS3 owners pick this up yet? I played with it a bit at the Local Fry's. It was pretty fun, good interaction with the systems already stellar graphics. Just with it wasn't so much to get up and running with 2 controllers :(

I've heard also the way its designed using an LED for tracking, the ambient light in the room can affect its accuracy without getting some tweaking/calibrating with the room light and system. And yes, paying for each additional controller is a negative price point.
I am not really a codfish.

I understood it that the use of the colored LEDs is actually designed to prevent issues with ambient light. It can change colors to get better contrast.

I wont be getting it though unless they prove to be able to integrate it into something other that "casual" games in a meaningful way. Hopefully it goes beyond Wii shovelware.

I've had the move for a while. It's extremely responsive.
Waiting for a new round of FPS to come along to really see what it's got.
The ping pong and bocca ball games are really fun to play.

FWIW, the lighted ball on the end of my Move always glows pink.

Has Sony raised the bar or are they just playing catchup with the Wii?

One of my buddies says it has issues if it loses sight of the glowy-ball.

Im' interested to see how it works as well. I've got a PS3, though an XBOX 360 as well (and I'm more excited about Kinect).

We'll see :)

I picked one up over the weekend. It is very responsive. Definitely reminds me of what the Wii does only a little better. It does seem like a "catch up" type technology however. The PS3 Move is technically better than the Wii but with exceptions. You must have the camera and it must be used in a well lit room. You need to calibrate the wand each time you play a game. You must be standing in the camera view.

SteveHas is right. The PS3 Move now needs a killer app. The games right now are kind of lame.

We finally got a setup last week and I love it so far. Played the gladiator game for a couple hours and felt it the next day, so it definitely gets you MOVING. I'm glad I've got a good sized living room though.

Sony finally posted the "move" update of High Velocity Bowling for all us great unwashed that aren't part of their paid subscription plan.

I can't for the life of me bowl two consistent frames. At least the little glowy thing is a nice rudolph red now.
