My Vip 622 for the last 3 years had major issues the past month and I had to erase everything on the hard drive and then the DVR would shutdown on it's own and would not come till few reboot tries. I had dish replace it. They sent me a refurbished Vip 622. Now I'm having a totally different issue that I never had before.
If I change any channel by either going up or down or entering the channel number, it takes from 5-12 seconds for the channel to come on. First I get a blank screen, then I hear the audio with the blank screen and then finally the picture appears. This is with any HD or SD channels.
Not sure what might be causing this problem.
Is it the DVR itself or the signal strength?
Any idea before I call dish?
