FWIW, I used OTA/AM21 with MRV to help distribute networks to other the other TV's in my house, so I didn't have to run separate lines for OTA before I got LiL. It works fine, just need to be proactive in recording shows to the dvr attached to the AM 21.

Now, I still see the need for 2 dvrs. I don't want to sift through the playlist that my son has.

And just to remind those present, it is not possible to diplex an OTA signal through cables that are already carrying network (internet) data.

That is what I was afraid of. In the past the DirecTV installer could grab the existing prewired system and make the CATV guy run the extra wire for the internet service. Now we have a well aimed shot ....right in the foot.

Unless there is a way to get an A/B switch into the mix to allow the OTA to operate in the absence of the DirecTV signal, including the internet feed.
