with my guide on "channels I receive", channel 649(SportSouth) doesn't show in my guide. I can manually enter the channel number and watch the channel. I rebooted the receiver and it didn't fix the problem.

Do I need to call DirecTV?

Somewhere within DirecTV's system, that channel is not coded as part of the channels you receive (for whatever reason). I doubt calling them will accomplish anything at all. You can do one of several things.
1. Leave it the way it is now, knowing you can change to it when you want to.
2. Change your guide selection to all channels. It should then appear.
3. Create a custom guide with those channels you want, including this one.

That's what I did, set the guide to all channels.

I think it just happened in the last few days, I think it just got a software update too.

I had sent DirecTV an email last night. They resent my programming and it now showing up in the channels I receive guide.

The "channels I receive" list still isn't 100% accurate. It used to be totally inaccurate for many, many months. When I switch to it, it tells me I have that subscription "baby" channel even though I don't. And there are other errors, too.

Your best bet is to set up the favorites lists. This isn't the easiest on the R15 unless you first go through the guide with ALL CHANNELS selected and write down the channels you want in your list after verifying that they are in your package.

3LNB Phase III Dish * 2-R15-300 * R22-200 * D12-100 * DirecTV Subscriber since Y2K
