From Yahoo:

The renewal will bring the animated series to a total of 515 episodes.

Then, why even comment or even read the thread?
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

"Belligerent and numerous."

Sometimes I update the Dish Network FAQ

AT200, Hopper & 360 via HDMI to Onkyo 505 to basement 42" Westy, Hopper via Comp-over-Cat5 to living room 42" Vizio with a Roku 3, Joey to Toshiba 32" LCD with a Logitech Revue. You want fries with that? Pull up to the 2nd window.

I didn't know it was possible to never have watched an episode of The Simpsons. ;)

Anyway, glad to hear of the renewal (would have been surprised if it wasn't).

Has that show gotten funny again? I stopped watching over 7-10 years ago when I stopped laughing at it. I caught 5 minutes of an episode or 2 over the years and was not impressed.

The last couple of seasons have been hit or miss in my opinion but when it hits it's hilarious.

I enjoy the episodes featuring Lisa when her conscience makes her do the right thing, but the price of doing so keeps getting higher and higher. Unfortunately, it is a lot easier to write episodes where Homer is gross and crass and Bart says "Bite me" and moons people.

Or like Lisa cheating on an achievement test, being the only person to give the right answer to the last question, which didn't even appear on the test because the paper was misaligned...

Or like Lisa learning that Jedidiah Springfield was scum but realizing she will hurt people if she debunks his myth,

Or like Lisa helping a new student get acclimated by inviting her to band practice, only to discover that she is a better saxaphone player...
