This usually means that you have a satellite signal issue on one or both DVR tuners.

Please post back with your signal readings for each satellite's transponders (and both tuners if applicable). You'll find these readings under "Menu" -> "Setup" -> "System Setup" -> Satellite -> "View Signal Strength". Note the "+" and "-" symbols next to the "Satellite" and "Tuner" entries where you can toggle the readings between the various satellites and both DVR tuners.

Fill in your readings for each satellite and tuner using these examples. A properly aligned dish will show 80-90s on most of the relevant transponders (although some will be low or zero):

Walking dead recorded fine last night. Even the episode that didn't before. I will post signal readings later when I can get them.

Those readings look great. Usually this problem is caused when the tuner doesn't get a good satellite signal at the start of record time. Could have just been a "glitch".

Are you sure you're running version 0x040C? That's a very old one.

Ah, I must have misunderstood your first post.

The first post is old but same problem different channel and shows. FYI I did have the KOD problem on KOKH ch 25 here in OKC for family guy, cleveland before posting about the walking dead KOD problem. This problem has happened several times on this dvr. It does not happen every Sunday night. It has though through several different software versions.
