NP, who knows, maybe one day if they add more HD and especially Cinemax channels I might resubscribe to those channels so I can try out their On Demand.

Aaaarrrgh. Thanks. Won't bother until it goes HD. And I have to admit I misread your post by one word, but it's all good now.

Thanks for the warning!

Gee, I seem to remember a press release that DIRECTV put out a couple years ago saying they were going to add a bunch of HBO and Cinemax HD channels, still waiting. So I think this time I'll just wait until they're acutally launched, who knows they might decide to stop doing the tango before then.

See post My Setup for configuration info.

Yeah, why bother...it's not like 7 or 8 million SD customers matter.
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

It is amazing how folks don't bother to read 1-2 posts back before posting themselves...their answers are there often before they post questions.

still .. it shows some movement where there was none before. That's progress.

Quite true...but I'm confident the boo birds and naysayers will come out of the woods anyway.

I don't think you were supposed to remember that press release and expect then to actually do it.

So what does this mean exactly? HBO and Cinemax are on demand now? But not in HD - yet? What haapened to the whole "HBO charges extra for thier on demand" BS?
