At a relitive's house I just recently saw an HR22-100 that had the black finish of the R22. WHAT WAS THAT????
R22-200 (HD)
(3) HR24-500

R22's are NOT Worthless:)

It was a black HR22-100.
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

You sure about the HR22?
What you may have meant was you saw one of the VERY rare HR20-100s that had a black finish.

It was an HR22-100 that had a matte finish, not glossy. I first thought it was an R22 but then I peeked in the access card panel:)
R22-200 (HD)
(3) HR24-500

Some HR22's have glossy and some HR22's have matte.

Yep, I have 4 Matte and 2 glossy HR-22's here right now, wishing I just had 3 of any that had good remote control response. :( Seriously tempted to lay out cash for some HR-24's, if they are actually better.

I have a R22 and an HR24 and the HR24 I would say is about %60 faster.
R22-200 (HD)

My HR22-100 is glossy black.

I was told that when they go through the refurb train they don't pay attention/care/it doesn't matter anyway what the finish is. They put a new face and a new cover on and out it goes.

Yup. I've received refurbs that have matte faces, and glossy cases.

They moved from glossy to matte in first quarter 2010, if I recall.

My favorite refurb trick is the sharpie marker over the scratches.

I have 2 HR22-100s black - matte I think - that work as well as my HR24-500.

Spending to stimulate the economy as fast as the credit cards will allow!
