It should have worked unless the receiver isn't seeing both connections to the dish.



Oh, Oh! Operator error! When I got that message I was already recording another channel. So I was starting a second recording and trying to watch a 3rd live show! It's working fine!

Just pointing out that the current policy with Directv service is that IF...for any reason...the customer calls Directv about the installation...the tech gets back charged.

Which is why I said to contact the installer directly if he had a way to do so. But it appears the problem wasn't a problem at all. Good news.
