Want to turn off HR24-200 Front Panel

Can this be done? Pressing both the right and left arrow buttons several times on the HR21 will turn off it's front panel but didn't work for the new HR24.

on mine (-100) press hold right arrow then while holding press the left arrow the 4 times to turn it off.

Thanks that worked for me but the DTV logo stays on. Guess I'll have to tape over it.

The DirecTV logo dims when the unit is "off". It's independent of the other lights.
DirecTV since '96, Waivers for ABC, CBS, NBC, & Fox, HR23-700 & HR24-500/AM21, using ethernet based MRV.

Also, It is harder to do it on an channel with active content(ESPN and others). put your receiver on say your local channel or some non news/sports channel and try left and right buttons again.
