Good morning gents. Need some install advice as I've just returned from Afghanistan and my brain did a total dump on everything Directv related. Can I combine my OTA antenna with the one line coming from the AU9 SWM dish using a diplexer? And if so, do I put it before going into the splitter and the power inserter?

Welcome back :)

I think you can if you have a SWM8 or SWM16 because they have an OTA in port. I may not be 100% correct though.

Good TV (Cable). Better TV (Dish Network). DirecTV.

Can be a bit tricky to do.
While the OTA band isn't being used on SWiM, the diplexer needs to pass the 2.3 MHz comm signal to the SWiM.
If you do put it before the splitter & PI, make sure the diplexer isn't passing DC to the OTA port.
You may find the OTA signals will be too weak after going through the splitter.

SWM8 has one while the SWiM-16 doesn't [because it's designed for DECA]
