I owned of directv hr24 receiver and i want to know what sizes, brands and models of hard drives are campatible with this model

Any of the ones that work externally will work internally as well.

Are you sure you own it?

Only the ones that fit in a rack mount are owned as far as I know (unless you paid a lot of money for it).

If you paid $199 or less it's leased.
