Hi, I connected a computer to my living room HR-21 HD DVR and I am having trouble accessing the pictures on my computer. Everything else works fine. I am able to download VOD and search You Tube Clips.

I want to know how I can change the computer I am linked too? Do I have to reset the receiver to the default setting?

Thanks,
Jim

You connected your computer to HR how?
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

I am using an ethernet connection through a wireless bridge. I have a Linksys 3000 router.

Are they on the same home network? If so, then download a server app like Tversity or Twonky on to the PC and configure it to share the folders/files.

Windows media player may need to have the DVR unblocked. While it isn't the best server, it works for some media sharing.
