What time do they usually turn the lights on? I'm getting a little hungry and I want to see the way to my new AMC HD fridge. Is it at mid night, 5 a.m., what time? Or is there no consistent time of the day, when they officially begin a new channel on DTV?

Peace
:D

Usually about 6am Eastern.
Opinions expressed by me are my own and do not necessarily reflect
those of DBSTalk.com, DIRECTV, DISH, The Signal Group, or any other company.

Can't wait. I'm a big AMC viewer as I imagine a lot of people here are. In fact I'm watching Batman Begins on AMC right now - tomorrow will be a great day for DTV'ers!! :D

I don't expect them tomorrow and hope they will show up in a month or two. I don't know if AMC has them available to anyone or if it is in the contract. (My guess is it is in the contract but no idea if AMC has any at this time.)

Cheers,
Tom

Also wouldn't mind my local FOX affiliate in HD. That new show Terra Nova looks interesting, but in SD? :(

Great that American Movies Classics is now in HD. But I am not sure so-so movies from the late 90s and 2000s they are showing for the first 8 hours are CLASSICS.
It's only tv!

I think tomorrow they're showing a Duke marathon. That's surely classic movies and I can't wait. :)

If you don't want to do sub-models at least do the new equipment...I'm just sayin'
Since it costs 2.4¢ to produce a penny, my 2¢ worth is really 4.8¢ worth.  That 4.8¢ is my own and not the 4.8¢ of DIRECTV, Dish, or anyone else for that matter.

With the number of commercials AMC shows, one begins to think Anthony Sullivan is the true star and not John Wayne

They dropped "American Movies Channel" in 2002, the same time they started showing commercials and editing the movies beyond recognition.
