Have they asked the animators, writers and other staff to take a 45% cut?
.

They've apparently at least asked the Producers, but no idea on what percentage.

Im glad there coming back, they will probably end the show at 25 seasons.

I dont care how lame the show maybe as compared to the first 10 years, its a great show still.

its really the last show that goes back to a different era of TV.

Has anyone watched the latest episodes? They are nothing compared to what the show used to be. They are out of ideas. Last weeks episode was about getting the security guard to be friendly and give homer a fist bump.

I love the show, I've watched it since I was little but go watch your Simpsons DVDs and ask yourself if it is as good now as it was in the 90s. It's time to take this dog out behind the shed and put it out of its misery.

As we age, our taste and humor changes as well. there was a time in our lives when the word 'Butt' or 'Boob' could make us laugh uncontrollably and today those words have no effect. Today, I find myself watching shows I never dreamed of watching when I was younger and there are shows where I have to stop and ask myself, "I actually use to like that show".

Many years ago (when the show was still king of the ratings), Fox always said there goal was to have this show run 25 years. Then again, they also said they would not even consider "A Simpsons Movie'" until the show had completed it's run.
